Job Title: Senior Geo-structural Engineer

Job Duties:

The Senior Geo-structural Engineer is responsible for supervising, training, and mentoring staff. Supervise small to large geotechnical/geo-structural projects including field activities. Perform and oversee engineering calculations and design drawings related to geotechnical/geo-structural work including (but not limited to) support of excavation (SOE) designs, specialty foundation designs, tunnel support systems, and geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring. Prepare feasibility studies and other technical analysis for construction procedures and prepare proposals for professional services and strive to develop new business in areas of specialty. Support other Reliance Engineers LLC offices with proposals and the delivery of engineering services. Develop and maintain client relationships. Represent Reliance Engineers LLC in communications and conferences pertaining to areas of specialty and to broad aspects of engineering. Travel to project sites and other offices as required, including overnight travel.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Structural Engineering, Geological Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related engineering field
• 72 months of experience in Civil engineering focused on geotechnical and geo-structural engineering. Progressive experience working with geotechnical engineering software which includes GeoStudio, LPile, Mathcad, CT Shoring, AutoCAD, Geo5, and other geotechnical programs. Proficiency in Shoring, Plaxis, Wallap, SAP, and STAAD.
• Must be able to travel up to 10% on temporary assignments as necessary, including field assignments.
